Our antics

These are some pictures of how we pass the time when not travelling. They are mainly how Paul spends his time as I use the camera!!

Paul has built a water gauge to take the guess work out of filling the tank.
We get some time to sketch and paint, not applying to the RA yet though.

When not doing locks I generally loll on the roof, admiring my cut up legs :-)
We have done quite a bit of outside painting, including both handrails and the port side gunnel.

Can you tell what it is yet? Paul has made some fenders for us out of old rope.
This is Paul's view most of the time when helming, I have a neat picnic seat and plonk myself on the roof and navigate.

We had a brief encounter with a sheep I named Esther after Esther Williams. She had fallen in the canal, so we pulled her out,
popped her in the cratch and ferried her back to her field.

The skipper and beer - 'nough said.

As I am having a go at a bit of fishing Paul decided to make me a landing net with some bits and bobs
he had found.
It is now all ready to go, just have to catch some more fish!
