Wildlife     We have seen lots of birds and animals and are having fun feeding them and watching their antics. Spring has arrived with a vengeance and there are lots of lovely flowers and baby birds and animals. More importantly lots of sun!           This is Gerald the Greylag goose, he was very friendly and docile. The swans tried to eat Paul's pad and paintbrushes!   Cheeky swan who put his whole head and neck into the boat to snatch bread.             A lovely swan that we snuck up to at Hampton Court. It just pretended to sleep but kept its beady eye open.   A kingfisher near Milton Keynes.             'Who are you looking at ?'   Splashdown.             A cheeky robin.   Floating on a sea of green...             An unconcerned heron.   A mammoth - no, we don't know why either!             The first ducklings arrive.   Then the first goslings.             A cheeky gosling sticks his tongue out for more!   They appear to build up huge creches             Not a great picture but shows how huge moorhen chicks feet are....   Saw the first cygnets on 20th May               We are getting quite attached to herons, you can make them feel very nervous by pointing at them. Guess they think they are invisible with all that grey plumage in the green!!
